Connect with the new people as soon as they join. To find the new people in Swom, log out of your Swom account, go to the main Swom page and on the left side you will see pictures of the newest members.  Right click on the first picture, open link in a new tab. Log back into your Swom account and refresh that new members tab and add them as a connection. In the adress bar you will see their member number, decrease it by 1 and add that member. Keep adding….. Do this EVERY DAY!  1 new connection=1 point

To get Gold evangelist shares welcome your new Swom contacts and make sure you put the word Gold in your comment. Also make sure you do not post the same comment over and over again. The Swom system will not give you points for reposting the same comment. Be creative with the word Gold. I will post one of my own comments just to give you an example:

Thanks for accepting my friend connection XXXX!
Wish you all the best here in Swom.
Have a great and Gold – en Thursday! =)

Over time by posting the word Gold, on your new Swom contacts page, you will get Gold evangelist shares.

For questions and answers, a maximum of 20 votes can be cast per user per day.

Maximum points you can get is 200/day PLUS Community chest (between 5 – 100)  which are random.

Be sure not to post your URL-s as this will cause you to lose 5 points/post.

As an internet marketer you probably do a heavy amount of copying and pasting. I know I sure do! I have tried a few varying techniques like having 3 notepads open and having the text highlighted and ready to go when I want to copy and paste something. Needless to say this is a VERY tedious task especially if you are marketing more than one product or service! So, with that said I have got to mention this nifty little tool I stumbled across. It is a dream for internet marketers and/or anyone who does a heavy amount of copying and pasting.

It is called XtraPaster. It is a FREE software program made by the AureoSoft Software Development Company. It has 36 slots where you can store text and it is organized with four different colors.

XtraPaster is extremely fast and easy to use. It has an interface that takes up very little screen space and can be used directly from the notification area of the taskbar (system tray or traybar).

Another handy feature of it is that it always stays on the top window which I find to be very, very useful!!

If you do a lot of copying and pasting I highly recommend you check this out! It has saved me oodles of time as I am sure it will save you time as well!

XtraPaster Copy and Paste Tool

I am sure that you have noticed on some Swom Members profiles there are different types of font sizes and colors. Well let’s explain some of the different font changes you can achieve in your Swom profile.

In order to change the font sizes in your Swom Profile you need to add the “Special Characters” to the text that you want to change.

A space between the “Special Characters” (asterisk, minus sign) and your text does not seem to be necessary. Most “Special Characters” need to be placed on both sides or surrounding your text.

Other “Special Characters” like the # sign only like to be placed in the beginning of the text and will not work properly if placed after the text.

Please note that the line underneath the red text modifications are actually three minus signs!!

Currently I am aware of two programs that allow you to add contacts in Swom automatically.

The first one is called Swom Bot.  I have tested this new Swom friend adder and quite honestly it works very, very good!  It is very easy to use and implement.  If you have no computer skills whatsoever, you need not be afraid of Swom Bot.  You can download it for free and get 500 credits free at http://www.swombot.com

It is a free download and after registering you will receive 500 credits so that you can add 500 new Swom members to your contact list.  You can purchase additional credits  in the amounts of 5,000 (5 £ or approximately $7.58 US Dollars), 10,000 (8 £ or approximately $12.13 US Dollars), 20,000 (15 £ or approximately $22.75 US Dollars), 50,000 (30 £ or approximately $45.49 US Dollars) and 100,000 (50 £ or approximately $75.82 US Dollars).

I was also going to do a review of a second one called webDOMinator.  Supposedly it has numerous plugins that you can download that will work with virtually any social network that you may be a member of.  But when I tried to download it my anti-virus software said it contained malware.  It may just be a glitch or an overzealous anti-virus program, nonetheless  I am not going to risk my computer with malware if I have already found what I want and it works quite well!  If you would like to check out webDOMinator feel free at http://webdombot.com but don’t say I didn’t warn you when your computer comes back working like a paper holder!

webDOMinator has a monthly subscription charge starting at $19.99 for a month, $54.99 for three months, $99.99 for six months and a one year license for $189.99.  The plans provide you with (1)  license to use the webDOMinator software on one computer plus unlimited sites. Payment recurs every period for which subscription service you have paid for.

WebDOMinator also offers a free 14 day trial.

Swom Bot and WebDOMinator are currently the only two friend adders that I am aware of that will automate adding contacts to your Swom account.  There are many more contact adders for a variety of social networks.  So if you do a lot of social network marketing you may want to investigate for yourself what some of these other options may be.

Lastly, just a brief note if you use an automatic friend adder for any social network there is always a chance that you just might irritate the administrator of the site and he will delete/ban your account or and/or block your I.P. address.  Just going from previous knowledge of other websites these bots can and do wreak havoc on servers and can cause a great deal of frustration and anger for the admin.

This is a quote from the Swom Admin:

“Swom Admin: ‘Please be advised that the use of automated software is strictly prohibited on SWOM, particularly softwares which make automatic posts in an effort to earn community points. This is not fair to other members to spend time participating. Please make sure you do not use any such software/program on Swom and delete any reference to them on your Swom profile. Attempting to ‘cheat’ the system on Swom is a sure way of getting your account deleted, and you will forfeit all your commissions.”

In the end, as always you will need to find the most appropriate method that you feel comfortable with and run with it!  Have fun adding friends on Swom!!

Be aware of scammers on Swom. I noticed that couple of people are promoting SWOM CO-OP for getting referrals. What this means is that you choose how many referrals do you want/month, you pay the monthly fee, and they deliver you the Swom referrals. Before you get excited I would advise you to CHECK everything you can about this. There are sites that have members who get paid to join FREE programs. They get PAID VERY little amount of money for signing up in a free program. It is very unlikely that they will upgrade in any program out there since they usually do not have any money. This is where scammers see their opportunity: they buy those free sign ups cheap and they sell it to you expensive. So please be careful with your money – I am not saying that everybody is scamming you, just be sure to check!

p.s. The usual converting rate online is 1%-4%, in my experience more likely 1% than 4% (out of 100 people who joined for free, 1-4 people will actually upgrade). In Swom I noticed it is better than the usual, I got 6.25% and that is awesome. But if anyone tells you that usual converting rate is 10% it is a lie if you ask me!

Since Swom has cut off the add 10 members at a time link, see previous post, it has been increasingly challenging to find new Gold Swom members.

Nonetheless a fellow Gold Swom member has suggested that “If you are a Gold Member, Go to edit profile and in the ‘offers’ create a tab that says, Swom Gold Member. Share this tip to others so we can easily click the ‘Swom Gold Member’ tabs on our profile to see a list of all the Golds on swom.”

Now imagine if everyone heeds this advice!!  It would be super easy to add Swom Gold Members!!

Needless to say I have taken this advice and added that tab in my offers section on my Swom profile.  When I click on it I see other Gold Swom members with that same tab in their Swom profile.  Unfortunately  all but one were already in my contacts.  The other was already a pending contact.

Hopefully more people will follow this advice and add “Swom Gold Member” in their offers tab.

Swom changed their policy about adding new contacts (connections) to your account so now you have to add 1 by 1. Sorry guys…The url we posted about adding new contacts works only for new members and it should work for those who have no contacts yet!!!

OK, you joined Swom. Now what?

First of all, you need to connect with as many people as you can. The procedure is explained in this post.

After you add connections, you need to communicate with your network. But do not use Swom for spamming people. We are here to build our businesses on a firm grounds. If you spam everybody with your link, they may join you once, but if they don`t make any money they will never take you as a serious marketer. You need to give your network value. In a long run, this will pay off. If you just continue jumping from program to program, you will not have any integrity for your downline.

Next thing you need to do is to start building your Swom network with your own referrals. How do you do that? Well I believe in a real work rather than scams.  In this case you have to advertise, advertise and advertise some more. If you are a newbie to all of this, the best place to start are Safelists. Safelists can bring you couple referrals/day. I am tracking all of my advertising and I get around 10 referrals/day  strictly from safelists. I don`t think that is a bad result for something that is FREE! There are many Safelists out there, but I have around 80 favorite that I advertise to (blast) at least 4 times/week if not more. The best days for advertising to safelists are tuesday and thursday. The worst day is friday so you can skip it. Keep your headlines short and interesting, something that would make you open it. Word LAUNCH usually gets attention if you use it smartly (this is because majority of people still react to the new programs, thinking the next will be the money maker,lol).

Another thing is to use VIRAL TRAFFIC BAR for your links. It is FREE to join – I am a free member and it gets you almost 3 times the hits. So be sure to use your swom viral traffic bar link instead of  original Swom link.

BTW, if you want more advertising places, I have over 2000 in my Online Traffic Bible book. You can check it on my Swom profile, it is selling  50% OFF for Swom members. I made that book in order to help myself.  In the end I finished helping myself and others. You can find all that information listed in the book yourself, but it will take your time and money. It took me more than 200 e-books and courses. And no, I am not trying to BS you. I am just saying like it is. You can also check my other blog in order to find some ideas for advertising.

There is also a program called Referralville. It is a program that is suppose to build your downline in Swom and some other programs. I am not using it so I can`t tell you about the results, but I hear people saying it is good.

And that should get you going. And remember: give value to your network and you will get value back!
