CHANGES TO COMMUNITY POINTS from 10/2/11

As you know, we’re always striving to improve Swom and
make it the premier place for marketers to network.

So we’re making some changes to encourage higher quality
interaction between members and reduce spam.

From 10th Feb, 2011 (after commissions calculations):

- community points will no longer be given for simply
posting and commenting irrelevant content.

- Instead, a new ‘Like’ feature will been added.

- You may ‘Like’ up to 10 activities per day on your
newsfeed. The author of the content will receive community
points for each of your ‘Likes’.

- Get more ‘likes’ by posting quality content and engaging
in quality interaction with other members.

We hope that this change will encourage members to focus
on quality content and interaction, rather than posting large
amounts of irrelevant content to collect points as some
members have been doing in the past.

We anticipate that this will result in less community points
being given out, but that each community point will be
worth a lot more.

As this is a new feature, we’ll be keeping a close eye on it
and looking out for member feedback.

With all these great changes, it’s never been a better time
to upgrade to Gold membership. We’ll be calculating
commissions in just 2 days – you can grab your share and

With that being said I think this new policy may very well harm swom and it’s members to such a great extent that many gold members may drop out completely.  Time will only tell as it depends on how this new swom policy will affect us all!  One of the great things about swom is the fact that you CAN earn your membership fee back plus some even with no referrals.  To this author it seems this new swom point policy is very much swayed to the favor of swom itself and not the members!  We will see.  What will you do with your 10 “Likes” limit a day?  “Like” your friends comments or actual meaningful comments?

I am still convinced that Swom is the greatest place for marketers, specially for NEWBIES. It is a way for you to earn while you earn. I wish I had Swom when I first started online, I would not make so many mistakes….And I would not lose lots of money (majority of newbies lose much more than what they earn in the beggining….and I was one of them).

So, if you haven`t yet joined SWOM, this is a perfect time for you, UPGRADE as soon as you can because you will make your monthly membership just by connecting with new members and communicating… Also you will be a part of Swom university, where you can learn how to market online!!!

So what am I aiming at with this headline? Well, I see so many people joining 1 to 3 programs/day, not doing ANYTHING afterwords. Other than complaining that the program doesn`t work. No kidding. How can any program work for you if you don`t work it??? If you think that internet marketing is about joining and not working – you are dead wrong. ANY program out there, and I mean ANY, needs YOU to make it work. Referrals/leads do not fall out of the sky. And generating referrals is only one part of the equation. The Second is getting your referrals to UPGRADE. A third part is teaching your downline how to do the same. Because even if they upgrade for a month, if they don`t make any money with a program, they will cancel the program and you will lose them. On the other hand, if you teach them how to promote/advertise and make money, you can build a very long and wealthy relationship with them for a long time.
Now something about Swom. In order to make money with Swom, you need to be a GOLD MEMBER. Period. If you are serious about this that is the first thing you should do. You will not make money as a free member. If you are here just to meet people, the free option is fine. If on the other hand you want this to pay your rent UPGRADE asap. Here are the steps you need to do if you UPGRADE:

1. Add your picture to your profile and add programs that you want to promote with Swom – make it personal

2. Make as many connections as you can.

3. Create your own group. You can add up to 500 contacts/day to your group but only if you are GOLD. You can use this group to promote your other programs, or to help people with Swom…basically for whatever you want. Groups are about building stronger relationships with your contacts, and connecting with people who have similar interests as you.

4. Promote your Swom link using FREE VIRAL TRAFFIC BAR (it will TRIPLE the hits to your link) on your blog or landing page or whatever page you are using to advertise your business. If you don`t have anything set up yet I strongly advise you to do so. (I will explain how-to step by step for Newbies in a new section I will be adding shortly to Swomnet) Or you can just promote your Swom link directly.

9. Communicate with Swom members and with your downline. Provide any help your personal referrals might need. Teach them how to make their business profitable. Open a Skype room for them – I will be opening a Skype room so I can assist better.

10. Promote EVERY SINGLE DAY for at least 1 hour.

Now, for all of you that are complaining about not making money with Swom:

1. Most of you did not UPGRADE TO GOLD – you have to put up something to get something. How can you expect to make money if you are a free member??

2. Many of you did not take the time to even put your picture up in your profile. Nor your businesses.

3. Majority of you if not all have only between 1-50 connections

4. I am sure that you are NOT promoting/advertising. There is a section about marketing in here. Did you read it? No. That section has only few hits/day. Why? Because you are too lazy to even read it, it is boring and it requires WORK. But the thing is: THOSE TECHNIQUES COMBINED WILL MAKE YOU MONEY. If you work.

5. Stop complaining and wasting your time online – start WORKING seriously. This is a business. Treat it like a business. (If you would to open an offline SHOP, would you advertise it to get customers? Would you show up for work every day? Would you help your employees to make more sales? Or would you just open it and leave to have fun expecting to find money laying on the counter waiting for you in a couple of days???)

6. Sorry to burst your bubble, but nobody is going to work FOR you. So, make some effort and the results will follow.

Well, I am VERY HAPPY to tell you that Swom is for real. I just got paid my first commission yesterday and this was the easiest money I made online with ANY program. And I actually joined to promote my other business, I upgraded just to test it. Apart from number of sales I had for my other business, I had 5 people UPGRADE – and that right there is $75. Plus the income I am building for the next month. I advertised Swom only on safelists (due to lack of time,lol) and I got 86 referrals in a week. Also I noticed that Swom is converting at 6.25 %. That means that out of each 100 people that  join under your Swom  affiliate link, 6.25 people actually UPGRADE to GOLD.  If you haven`t upgraded yet, I urge you to do so right away as your income will start to add pretty soon. And remember, online marketing is a numbers game – more you put your link out there, more sales you will make. ok. Since it is Sunday and advertising is more less pointless on weekends, I decided to make a little experiment with Swom income. So far I made $27.61 strictly from commenting. I will try and comment as much as I can today, I will keep track of number of comments and I will get back to you with my results after Swom updates the income page!!!!

After leaving comments on approximately 40 non-downline Gold member pages and 47 downline members who are not gold yet my estimated commissions for this month jumped from $27.61 to a whopping $100.46!!

I have many people asking me if Swom is for real. Honestly I can`t answer your question. All I know is that if this was for real, it would be the best site to make money online. I am trying to digg more information but so far I haven`t had any luck. However, I did e-mail Swom support with following:

Hi, I would like to know if the swom admin will update us on what is going on with swom at the moment. I am a gold member and I can bring people in, but if I can`t anwer their questions I do not feel comfortable bringing them in. Lots of people in swom are wondering is this another scam, they want update from you. Please respond. If people don`t hear from you very soon they will go elsewhere. Btw if the program would work as stated it would be the best program online.

If and when they answer, I will post the answer in here as well as on my profile in Swom! Until then hold on Upgrading to GOLD membership. I upgraded to test the site and to report to my downline. As far as commissions, so far I referred over 60 people in 2 days very easily, some of them upgraded to GOLD and my income is growing very fast.

If this IS REAL, we could all be very wealthy in no time!

I will keep getting free members but will advise AGAINST upgrading until further notice. Join FREE, make as many connections as you can, and promote your other opportunities. More people you get to know, the better.
